I have just added Satin Flycatcher to my GBS site list (which also made choosing my entry forBird a Day pretty easy). A male with wonderfully glossy blue satin head. Interestingly the COG Photo Gallery rates them as 'Common' while the Annual Bird Report for 2012-13 puts them as "Uncommon". IMHO they are common in the higher Brindabellas but uncommon lower down. |
