Next week we will commence the removal of more willows/alder/ash etc along Jerrabomberra Creek. A small section south of the bridge and 3 patches north of the bridge. Also we will remove a single willow in front of the Tadorna hide for
improved viewing.
In the Autumn a small section of willow will be removed along the Molonglo Reach, adjacent to an area we have planted with natives last spring. We also have local native trees and shrubs on order for autumn/winter planting as replacements,
although some areas will be allowed to naturally develop as reed beds as is occurring on the south west corner of the cycle bridge.
