1 A local friend went past the Bungendore Meadow dam today and reported about 80 Plumed Whistling Ducks: a new record. 2 I swung by Campbell Park at noon (in a rush to an appointment in town) but still had time to find a single Owlet-nightjar to the South of, and close to, the cavaletti (aka hoss stile). It is possible that the others reported by Shorty are also still in the 'hood, but I didn't have time to search. Martin Butterfield |
