Walking round Mt Ainslie this morning  (11.25 am), saw  two Wedge-tailed Eagles quartering the eastern slopes of Mt Ainslie (over the power lines and towards the NE corner of Campbell Pk). They were using the firm easterly wind, one dropping down to tree top height, the other gliding some 30-50 m higher.  In sight for 5 mins or so as they wheeled  to and fro across the trees.
