Interesting sightings this weekend included:
- swamp harrier just north of Kiandra
- emu adult and two chicks on edge of Alpine Way near Ranger House (ie ex 1960s 
chairlift base station)
- Lathams snipe just above Thredbo River next to Cascades Track (about 1650m 
elevation - similar elev to where I've seen them on Mt Blue Cow).
