Thanks to Martin Butterfield's excellent directions and the twittering of its Leaden Flycatcher 'parents', I was able to locate the Brush Cuckoo fledgling at Gigerline Nature Reserve this morning.

It was a great morning all round, with lots of other good species, including Shining Bronze Cuckoo, Bronzewing, White-throated Gerygone, Dusky Woodswallows, Brown Treecreepers, Trillers, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Kestrel, and a solitary Diamond Firetail.

I dropped by the Riordan Street park in Fadden to find the Scaly-breasted Lorikeet but found just one Rainbow Lorikeet, which entered a hollow and did not reappear while I was there.  And a Dollarbird flew over.

Regards,
