Some evening entertainment for you.  I filmed this in southern England - the northern lapwing is somewhat related to our masked lapwing.  A lovely bird as you will see if you are not familiar with it. Watch what happens when a raptor, esp. a highly proficient chick-stealing raptor like a Kite, turns up over its breeding grounds!
