I never fail to be impressed by the boldness of small birds in the face of 
their mortal enemies.  Their determination to harass raptors seems to know no 
bounds when protecting territory or young.  As the attached image shows from 
today at Mulligans, this leaden flycatcher perched within 'talon-grab' or 
'beak-snap' of the brown goshawk, which itself was protecting territory.
