That is quite funny, hard to know what they were thinking. (Sorry that is a dumb comment, of course it is). As for David's obs, that is quite early, I don't know what "recently" is, but it is about a month earlier than the average of years ago. they appear to have broadened their schedule. Though hard to know as the COG ABR no longer has monthly abundance graphs like it always did many years ago.

Nice work! - re hobby recently got to see a parent do an aerial pass of a captured bird to a  juvenile as part of hunting training - above busy traffic in Newcastle, too slow to get it on film!
