Thanks for sharing those, there is plant of bird life in the wetland bits of the Forde drainage system at the moment.  There have been plenty of Latham's Snipe in there of late, as well as breeding Little Grassbirds, as well as your lovely crakes and rails.  Keep up the good spotting.

Alison Turner and I saw two Buff-banded Rails yesterday afternoon with three chicks ... looked very young .. little balls of black fluff. Photos of adults and 2 of the 3 chicks. They moved very quickly.. (poor photos)
