No ducks

I have just returned from a dash to Moruya and back today to pick up some specimens from a site near the town. On the way back I did a quick detour in Bungendore to Trucking Yard Lane to see if there were any whistle-ducks present. When I got there , a truck was unloading building supplies about 30 metres up the road and the dam only had 3 rather tatty looking Australian Shelducks, several Grey Teal and about a dozen Pacific Black Ducks. I then had a brief stop at the Bungendore Sewage Works and there was even less in the way of birdlife and certainly no whistle-ducks that I could see.
