There were five Peregrine Falcons flying over Urambi Hills around 1pm today.  From my perspective, it was an enjoyable aerial display, with the birds chasing each other, flying high and descending fast in stoops, sweeping very fast past the tree tops at low level and even coming close to the ground.  They were grappling with each other, chasing off the Wedge-tailed Eagles and cruising around for at least 10-minutes that we watched.  I guess they could have been the Red Rocks Gorge family that Sandra reported on 17 November as having three young that were then starting to fly.  They've learnt well, from what I witnessed.
