Two chicks in the Oriole nest today. The Grey Fantail nest near the horse
gate also seems to have survived the rain as have the three White-browed
Woodswallow nests I know of. One of the triller nests I was watching was
abandoned before the rain and the Leaden Flycatcher nest near the horse gate
has fallen out of the tree but the three young seem to have survived. An
active White-throated Gerygone nest near the horse gate also seems to have
survived the rain.

The first time that I have seen a white browed wood swallow's nest. There
was a bird sitting on it, close to the horse gate and the willie wagtail's
nest. And a triller, feeding young, that I had not seen before, high in an
adjacent tree
Has anyone been to see the oriole's nest? A couple of years ago, we were
keeping an eye on an oriole's nest, which had two chicks in it. There was
heavy rain and the nest with chicks, fell to the ground
