I guess you are not asking about the mostly white one, which must be a domestic Mallard. Whatever, both are certainly looking like mainly Mallard genetic input, the brown one's face marking hints at quite possibly has some PBD ancestry, although normal female Mallard are not that different. They may well not be first generation hybrids but likely are somewhere in their history. As they are together and of similar size (normal Mallards are bigger) they are probably closely related, so maybe even the white one is hybrid too. I would suspect only those 2 species to be involved.

The consensus so far is that is a black duck hybrid with a domestic mallard but I have no experience with hybrids….
