The Wedge-tailed Eagle has again landed on the roof of my neighbour’s chook shed.
We haven’t seen it for a while but late spring seems to mark its return, possibly because there are young birds of various kinds at this time of year which make easy pickings.
But the chooks always interest and, I suspect, frustrate the Eagle now that the enclosure is netted with overhead wire as well.
