Monday 3rd December – cool but sunny. Environment drying off.

Birds calling everywhere – highlights include:

Restless Flycatcher, 2 Crested Shrike Tit feeding young, Yellow-tufted Honeyeater ++, Brown Treecreeper ++ defending territory, Diamond Firetail 1, Sacred Kingfisher DY, Rufous Songlark, White-bellied Cuckoo Shrike, Little Eagle flying over the dam, White-throated Treecreeper 1, Dusky Woodswallow, Olive-backed Oriole (juv), Dollarbird, Peaceful Dove, White Plumed Honeyeater, and the more common birds.

Two very pleasant hours spent walking the main track.
