On Saturday morning down by Lake Burley Griffin at the end of ANZAC Parade, I was attracted by a commotion in the bushes on the western side which saw a few wrens of both sexes yelling at a completely unconcerned female satin bowerbird. She moved off into the willows and the wrens, obviously affronted, took a while to settle down.
