Everything about the first bird suggests to me that it is indeed a Little Grassbird, which I see every day in Crace Wetland. 
I am less confident of the second but it is some kind of oriole-related bird  and given that Wagga is the location it is probably a juvenile Olive backed Oriole, yet to get the olive colouration.
I await the more knowledgeable people to correct me, maybe!!

Old water treatment pong in Wagga opposite cemetery - bird mainly in long reeds with this one short time out in the open late evening - maybe Little Grassbird?
