Subject: | Great Crested Grebe (Goulburn area) plus a furry friend - water rat |

It always amazes me how shy and difficult this bird is to find in our region - Pejar dam north of Goulburn is a reliable spot - currently full and yes there were at least four visible from the dam wall on Thursday see:- https://vimeo.com/110552574.
While filming the grebes I had a really good encounter with a native water rat - best views I've had of one swimming and diving in what will eventually come out of taps in Goulburn! see:- https://vimeo.com/110552573 Enjoy David |
