I seem to recall last spring that someone was seeking Red Wattlebird nests for research on Koels.
If  whoever it is is still interested, there is a quite accessible nest on Percival Hill which I would be happy to point out.
It is interestingly constructed of blue rope among the twigs etc.
Happy to show anyone where it is.
