Blue cheek patch was totally white and a lot of yellow each side of the rump when in flight.  If not a hybrid, it definately had its colour scheme mixed up.

They occur and I guess you saw more than what the picture shows but I don't see in the photo to indicate hybrid. Not enough Eastern Rosella features at least to match typical hybrids (though they vary). Yes the blue cheek appears a little pale.
