Also a pallid cuckoo, R. Whistler and a few superbs in GooRoo this week. I'll fill out a thingy sheet online.

The first Koel of the season has arrived near Mildenhall Place in Fraser this afternoon – calling incessantly late in the afternoon. Many people will curse this constant call but I am looking forward to getting some good shots this year. I managed some nice shots in my yard last year  but the male is particularly challenging to shoot.
