Undeterred from a regent less visit to Tuggeronong this morning the intrepid
Terriers (2) proceeded to the cycle track where it crosses Lyttelton st where
several species of gums are flowering profusely on the high side. Apart from
many noisy friar birds, red wattle birds and noisy miners we observed very
closely superb parrots and rainbow lorikeets. Not actually in these trees but
about 50 metres to the left we identified at least one little lorikeet preening
itself in a very high position only allowing for a poor confirming photo.
Perhaps others may have better luck.
