According to TAMS website, Tharwa Bridge will be closed Mon-Fri 27 Oct-7 Nov (so not quite yet).  COG members might like to know that the Naas bridge over the Gudgenby is closed Mon-Fri 7 Oct-31 Oct.  http://www.tams.act.gov.au/roads-transport/act_public_road_closures/listings/temporary_road_closures

Cheers

Thanks to all who answered my queries last night. I drove up Smiths Road after crossing the Tharwa bridge (no signs suggesting road works anywhere) and there was a sign at the junction where it turns down to Angle Crossing saying it was still closed. Judging by the amount of water flowing down the Murrumbidgee I would say it will still be closed for a couple more days. Barbara Allen is going out that way on Wednesday and will let us know if it is open.

I didn’t go anywhere via Point Hut Crossing but John Bundock said it was open.

Cheers,
Mark

In view of Tharwa Bridge closure for roadworks Mon-Fri, one hopes that Point Hut Crossing is open!

Thanks to Kym B and Stuart H for letting me know that Angle Crossing is closed. Does anyone have any knowledge if the Point Hut Crossing is open or closed?

Thanks,
Mark
