On our dog walk around the block this morning I recorded 6 breeding events.
  1. Tawny Frogmouth (NY - saw 2 chicks yesterday)
  2. Pied Currawong (NY: yesterday saw typical behaviour of this species, carrying in a former Jacky Lizard.)
  3. Welcome Swallow (ON in our top shed)
  4. Australian Magpie (NY in the top paddock)
  5. White-winged Chough (ON in middle paddock)
  6. Striated Pardalote (IH - the 'H' being a rectanglar-section metal joist in the top shed.  My suspicion is that any eggs or young in the est might well have been cooked in the heat of the past few days.)
The Magpie and Chough were outside my GBS site but the others were all within.
