Newline Lane this morning

Relatively few small bush birds at Newline this morning, although it was good to see a Buff-Rumped Thornbill taking food to a (presumed) nest under the bark of a yellow box.

 

Also of interest were several Olive-backed Orioles, a Goshawk flying up into the canopy with a dead bird in its talons (looked like a Noisy Miner) – and a single Superb Parrot, flying north from the Molonglo Valley.
