Not having visited the Azure Kingfisher for a couple of weeks, I went for a wander over to the channel next to the Molonglo River late this afternoon but was unable to find the bird.
My wandering was not entirely kingfisherless however, with a pair of Sacred Kingfishers seen near the end of Dairy Road. (My first for this spring.)
