white-fronted chat

The small bank of Stromlo white-fronted chats were showing well yesterday and today, John – they are easy to find in the rough grass down from the cycling pavilion, towards and adjacent to the new-ish lake.  Also with them were pipits and skylarks, posing a neat identification puzzle.  And a pair of blank-fronted dotterels in the overflow channel from that dam.

Does anyone know of any other location in the ACT where white-fronted chats are regularly seen?

Steve

A very reliable bird enthusiast friend of mine, not a member of COG, reports white-fronted chats at Stromlo Forest Park. He checked his ID with a wildlife specialist.

If anyone is interested I could find out exactly what part of the park he saw them in.
