Pretty quiet, the only spring migrant was a single Tree Martin soaring very high.
A Peregrine was circling for a time, it might be the one that is sometimes seen at Shepherd's Lookout. I saw a solitary Sittella (female), I hope it wasn't the last of its flock. Apart from this only the usual thornbills and Grey Fantails. I haven't seen the Brown Treecreepers at Kama for 2-3 years, are they still around? John Leonard |
