I was one of the people at the Bruce Stadium yesterday to watch the Raiders dine on Eel. I park on Dryandra Street in O’Connor and walk along the old Weetangera Lane (now walking/cycle path). Nearing the high voltage power line close to the GDE, three Superb Parrots flew high over O’Connor Ridge heading east.

Despite a huge football crowd surging past to see the Raiders play the Parramatta Eels late yesterday it was good to see nine Superb parrots feeding on the lawn at the AIS, together with two pairs of red-rumped parrots and a pair of Eastern rosellas that took off early.
