After a very early start to nest building the Carwoola Frogmouths downed tools through the very cold start to August 2014. However they resumed activity a couple of weeks ago and this morning the male has assumed the position on the nest. I presume this means he has an ovoid underneath him.
This is right on their usual schedule. If such regularity is maintained hatching is due on 2nd October! Martin Butterfield
