This morning there were 10 Dusky Woodswallows at Gungahlin cemetery near entrance pond. Total 30 species inc. 27 Red-browed Finches. Last week Masked Lapwings raised 2 chicks in Dooley Bindy St, Bonner just around the corner. Bird sat between footpath and gutter and allowed people and dogs to pass without fuss except the day the chicks emerged. They left promptly. Brown Goshawk perched on side fence 22/8 for 10 minutes. First raptor observed landing inside our boundary.
