Hi, in Eremaea eBird there is a Hotspot called 'Mt Majura Nature
Reserve', coords 35°14'49.2"S, 149°10'37.4"E, details at
http://ebird.org/ebird/australia/hotspot/L2543227 .
In the COG Atlas there are 16 sites on the Reserve, one is a generic 'Mt
Majura Nature Reserve'. Paul Fennel will be able to provide details.
COG's website does not contain a gazetteer.

Hi,
Out running on Mount Majura last weekend, I saw what I thought was not
one but two male Rose Robins with the usual woodland birds. Having no
glasses/camera/binocs at the time, I wasn't 100% so kept it to myself
but took heart that Marnix reported a Rose Robin on another part of
that mountain on the same weekend.
This morning I was able to find one male robin - briefly- very
exciting. Now comes the tricky part - data entry.
Is there a way I can figure out if the area I was in is a standard
area? I know I was in M12, but
Mount Majura 1, 2, 3 etc don't mean anything unless there is a key and
I guess these codes are set up for standard observations. Can someone
let me know if there is a reference on the COG website or is it best
for me to create a new standard location with a GPS?
Thanks,
Megan
