Thanks Sandra, it was nice to meet you and fun having Ranger Michael and COG come to school. I think a kids art competition is a great way to develop awareness about Gang-gangs and I too was impressed with the way the students spoke with Louise Maher on the radio. Having John Leonard's poem read was a lovely touch. Thanks John for your poem and thanks to everyone involved, especially Kathy Eyles who co-ordinated the Imagining Gang-gangs launch yesterday. The Gang-gang print that COG presented to North Ainslie Primary is beautiful and will be much appreciated. Maybe it will be hung in the Gang-gang room!

Yesterday I went along to the launch of the competition at North Ainslie Primary School.  The children there, who have the Gang-gang as the school emblem, were very keen and knowledgeable. Louise Maher from the ABC presented a segment live on 666, and has now put the story onto the ABC site.
thanks to Louise for this.
Thanks to COG members "Ranger Michael", Megan Mears and Kathy Eyles, and of course all those enthusiastic kids, who all put in a lot of effort to make it a great event. John Leonard's poem about the Gang-gang was read out at the school assembly and during the on-air segment, so thanks also to John for the words.
