Margaret and I are downsizing to our caravan and have some pieces of bird-related art to dispose of for cash. These items have to be picked up within a month as we will then be out of our house. They are available for inspection on appointment and pickup. I can ship these if necessary at the buyer's expense. I will need a post code and location to provide quotes. Pictures are attached as a pdf. I apologise for some of the images which were difficult to achieve due to reflections. I can send higher resolution images upon request.

Item one: Loon Family by Walter Breckenridge. The Common Loon is the state bird of Minnesota. This print was for the 50th anniversary of the Minnesota Ornithologists Union in 1987. The print is numbered 357 of 490 and is signed by the artist. The print was professionally framed and matted and includes the logo of the MOU and the 50th anniversary emblem (oval inset below the print). The print measures 52x40 cm and the overall frame is 82x66 cm. Dr. Walter Breckenridge was the director of the Bell Museum of Natural History in St. Paul, MN for 20 years and a renowned wildlife artist, ecologist, ornithologist, and author.  He passed away in 2003 at the age of 100. We are asking $250 or best offer.

Item two: Cassowary by Helen Fitzgerald. This painting is painted in gouache on an Eucalyptus leaf. The painting is signed by the artist and dated 2001. The overall size of the frame is 29x24 cm. We are asking $200 for this painting or best offer.

Item three: Major Mitchell Cockatoos on Melaleuca bark print by John Gray. The print is signed by the artist and part of the art includes a feather of the bird. The permit number to have the feather is included on the back of the print and shown to the right of the print below. This print is still in its plastic wrapping and measures 28.5x23 cm. $20.

Item four: Gang-gang Cockatoo print by Fiona Lumsden. This is an appropriate print given the recent interest is Gang-gangs and their census. Fiona hails from the Blue Mountains and is renowned for her bird and flora paintings. The print is signed by the artist. A closeup of the title and author's signature are shown over the base of the photo below. The print measures 27x19 cm and the overall size is 49x37 cm. $40 or best offer.

Also of note: an original screen print of brolgas is being offered for auction on eBay. The print is by Jorgen Bechmann.

Thanks for your support,

Charles Buer and Margaret McJannett
