Dear avid bird watchers and photographers!
My wife and I are in the process of writing a guide book for the Canberra
Centenary Trail due to be published next year. It is essentially a walking and
cycling guide but we are including a
section on some Canberra birds.
We are in need of good, high resolution photos of several
birds to accompany our bird section. The
photos we are after are of:
1. Australian Wood Duck
2. White-faced Heron
3. Little Black Cormorant
4. Black-shouldered Kite
5. Eastern Rosella
6. Red-rumped Parrot
7. Grey Fantail
8. White-winged Chough
9. Yellow-rumped Thornbill
10. Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike
11. Scarlet Robin
12. Yellow-faced Honeyeater
13. Mistletoebird
14. Peregrine Falcon
15. Superb Fairy-wren
16. Little Eagle
17. Fan-tailed Cuckoo
18. Spotted Pardalote
19. Welcome Swallow
20. Common Bronzewing
21. Wedge tailed Eagle in flight
If you are keen to contribute to this project we would love
to hear from you. Unfortunately we do not have a budget to pay anything but
contributors will be acknowledged in the book.
With kind regards,
Tallis Didcott
