On Sunday morning some Crescent honeyeaters were feeding and calling frequently in casuarinas by river on the ‘River Loop’ track N. from Pine Island. Probably 3 birds in all. There was another male further N. near the 1.6 km marker (to Pine Island), also in a casuarina, with an E. spinebill. This is quite close to the point where CHEs were present at the beginning of this month, at the end of the T’nong dry stone wall.

 

Also a Yellow robin and Brown and Striated thornbills.

Male bird in our Chapman garden last few days mainly in flowering Snowy River Wattles.
