Eastern Spinebill was my first thought too. If the calling stops as soon as you open the door, it suggests to me that it is probably feeding nearby, probably in a grevillea or similar though they will feed at all sorts of flowers, including camellias in winter. Look for a bird with rapid somewhat flitting flight with flashes of white in the sides of the tail...
