The largest flock of Galahs I have seen in this region were aggregated this morning in a paddock near the Molonglo River between the end of Dairy Road and the Monaro Highway.
 
Attached is a photo of a section of the flock taking flight (for no obvious reason) before quickly settling back down to feeding on the ground.
