On Monday about 2pm, 2 adult sea eagles circling above Acton Peninsula/Black Mtn Peninsula.  Twice within a few minutes there was close interaction with the lower bird rolling onto its back and extending talons but no contact.  They then flew, as opposed to soaring, over ANU heading N in very close formation.

Mating behaviour???

Also on Sunday, 10.30 a.m., an adult sea eagle flying along the Murrumbidgee towards the north, 1 km. N. of Pine Island.

Also in the same vicinity: 1 Brown falcon and 1 Brown goshawk occupying the same dead tree; Scarlet robins, Golden whistlers, Grey shrike-thrush, White-eared HEs, unusually large numbers of E. spinebills, and some Brown-headed HEs in a mixed feeding flock. And all 4 commoner thornbills in MFFs.

At Isaacs Ridge on Sunday, a Sea Eagle flew overhead in direction as though coming from Lake Tuggeranong/Murrumbidgee R directly towards Jerra Wetlands (which I understand is their current residence).

Also a Southern Whiteface.
