On Sunday when we were birding around the Lake someone was playing with what I took to be a two-stroke powered remote-controlled boat. We were on the opposite shore, the noise pollution was unpleasant and the thing travelled at very, very fast speeds - think remote controlled model planes. The rooster tail was impressive. Waterbirds, their Sunday rudely disturbed, duly scattered.
