Further to the Speckled Warbler(s) on Percival Hill, Lindell managed a quick photo which might interest those who haven’t seen one lately. The photo is better than this but reduced the pixels to fit the chatline rules. Wouldn’t get out of the grass but
I was very pleased to see it – haven’t seen one on Percival Hill in 13 years although have seen a pair at Mulligans flat earlier this year.

Subject: [canberrabirds] Speckled Warbler
Took Lindell Emerton on an interesting walk on Percival Hill this morning, as she is preparing a walk for her U3A group.
Over 30 species, good for this time of year, but the highlight was that Speckled Warblers appear to have joined the Percival Hill MFF . We only saw one in among the other birds but we watched it up close for a long time.
