The main responsibility of the assistant will be searching for Red Wattlebird, Magpie-lark, and Noisy Friarbird nests. This is a great opportunity for anyone needing field experience, especially those interested in studying birds in the future. At this point, it is an unpaid position, but I have applied for several grants and am still waiting to hear back about funding for a field assistant.
