And also at midday in Toms Crescent at the edge of Corroboree Park in Ainslie- distinctive calling and I saw three or four moving through street tree-tops.

Campbell Park and Mt Ainslie this morning: full cloud cover and a chilly wind, but plenty of spotted pardalotes drifting across the tree-tops in groups of up to 10 – saw several such groups within an hour.  They seemed to be coming from the south-east.  Pretty constant piping “pip-pip” calls from birds that had stopped in the trees – rather reminiscent of bellbirds.
