A number of species of birds are still there, but in small numbers and their activity seemed somewhat subdued.

White-throated treecreeper, white-plumed honeyeater, magpies, dusky woodswallows, superb fairy wrens, red-browed finch, willie wagtail, one pair of red-rumped parrots, welcome swallows. Heard but not seen, scarlet robin.  Seen high in the sky, migrating honeyeaters.
