Windowgazing at 2.30 this afternoon through the drizzle, and suddenly there were 4 green Satin Bowerbirds hopping round the garden. Not totally unexpected as there are now two bowers in the nearby Corroboree Park.  But a good momentary  relief from the currawongs etc   -  one perched on a wheelbarrow handle, another hopped on the ground, and  a couple tested the edibility?/desirability for display(?) of the runner bean leaves.
