There's a map in Megan's link - looks like it's near Dickson College?

I'm sending further information from the Land Development Agency below. From this link it is possible to access the
Response to Public Comments. The document is lengthy and many good questions were raised about the preservation of the habitat as well as the effect on birdlife, including a summary of bird surveys completed on the site. Surveyers found that the birds
that visited the site are the larger, more robust birds and were unconcerned about them. Unfortunately the LDA disagreed with almost every environmental consideration raised.
It's my view that this development will put increased pressure on the adjoining woodland in Justice Robert Hope Park and will push the mynahs and starlings deeper into the Mount Majura reserve.
It will be very interesting to see how the developer, who is permitted to build up to 110 homes on 4 hectares will 'keep as many trees as possible.' (see below)
Megan
With regards to your email below, I wish to advise you that the sale of Watson Block 9 Section 64 is currently under negotiation.
All documentation relating to this site are available at http://www.economicdevelopment.act.gov.au/community_engagement/current_activities/block-9-section-64-watson, An Environmental Impact Assessment for this site was not required. The sales documentation requires the developer to keep as many trees as possible. Hope you will find the documents you require on the link. On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 6:52 AM, Martin Butterfield
