The weather for next Wednesday 19 March is looking quite pleasant so the walk to Kama Nature Reserve will go ahead, meeting as scheduled off William Hovell Drive at 8:30.  The official car park is on the Northern side of the the road but as this will still be peak hour traffic I suggest that those coming from the South either:
  • park on the left hand verge and jump the fence to get into the underpass; or
  • go about 1.5km further up the road to the roundabout and circle that to come back on the correct side of the road.
I hope we will have the time and energy to do the River walk.  According to a TAMS brochure (0.5Mb - not linked on the site with other CNP maps) it is 5.4km return, with the first half downhill.
