A Satin Bowerbird, as Barbara Jones and Denis Wilson identified it.  This is the quick wing-flash in display, and a closer look shows the bird is replacing its underwing coverts, the emerging feathers, some still with their sheaths, lined up like a row of artist’s paintbrushes ready for use
