Judging by the range of suggestions it is obvious that the photograph is
too ambiguous to make a positive identification.
FYI the back story is that I was at Monga with a very experienced bird
watcher who was convinced she heard a Gilbert's Whistler calling. She
said that it was too far east of its normal range but she was familiar
with the call and was almost certain that is what it was. We spent some
time trying to track the bird down but I did not see the bird that was
calling. The bird in the photograph was in the area but it was not
calling at the time I took the photograph. It was a long shot, but I was
hoping someone would say "that's a Gilbert's Whistler!".
